POPIS

Vít Slíva (*1951) patří k básníkům, jejichž umělecký osud byl poznamenán publikační nepřízní normalizačního dvacetiletí. V brněnském Bloku vydal sbírky Nepokoj hodin (1984) a Černé písmo (1990). Ač obě patřily k tomu nejlepšímu, co bylo možno bez úliteb režimu prezentovat, zapadly v dané době bez adekvátní kritické odezvy. Zúročení své poetiky se Vít Slíva nepochybně dočkal v uplynulé dekádě, a to v propojení se svou letitou pedagogickou činností. Jeho tvorba výrazně ovlivnila (a v nejlepším smyslu i „odchovala“) řadu autorů dnes už celé generační škály: od Petra Hrbáče a Roberta Fajkuse až po mladé básníky kolem časopisu Weles: Bogdana Trojaka, Vojtěcha Kučeru, Věru Rosí... V devadesátých letech Slíva publikoval sbírky Volské Oko (1997) a Tanec v pochované base (1998). Připravovaná sbírka Grave rozvíjí dřívejší silnou lyrickou reflexi a meditaci a snoubí ji se silným vědomím rodového místa (Slezsko) a také výraznými vazbami k rodině. Jestliže kniha Tanec v pochované base představovala jakousi expresivní básnickou rapsodii věnovanou životu a skonu básníkova otce, sbírka Grave je jejím tlumenejším protipólem i pokračováním. Básník se vyznává ze svého vztahu k mamince, dává prostor dětským vzpomínkám...
